If you are a Jio user and facing an issue then you can contact jio’s customer care through various means. Currently, you can contact Jio through a toll-free number, email, your jio account, app, social media and directly visiting a physical store or office.
You can contact jio customer care through below mentioned ways for any jio associated product or offering i.e. it is not only for your jio 4g network sim. If you have Jio fi 2 or any jio product or activated service and have some problem then use the options given below.
The customer care response time and resolution period depend on the technicality of your problem. Personally speaking, the toll-free number is the best way to start with but you can also choose any other communication means to contact jio support.
Here are various ways with which you can reach Jio and ask your question/query….
1. Toll-Free Number of Jio
You can contact Jio through their toll-free numbers any day, any time! Yes, its open 24X7, Monday to Sunday. Here are the working Jio toll-free number:
- 198 -> For any complain or queries. You can only call this number through a Jio sim.
- 199 -> If the above number is not reachable, you can also dial this number for any queries related to Jio services.
- 18008899999 -> Call this number from any other operator.
2. Customer Care E-mail ID of Jio
You can send an email to [email protected] if you want to get any help from Jio. Currently, they have a target of responding to your email within 24 hrs and another 48 hrs to completely solve your issue. The time taken to solve your issue completely depends on the severity of your issue so take the turnaround time with a pinch of salt.
You can also contact Jio through this online form which is just like sending an email – https://www.jio.com/en-in/contact-us.
3. Social Media
As of now, Jio is only active on Twitter. I’ve no idea what’s the official Facebook page for Jio as they have not yet disclosed it anywhere.
Jio’s official twitter account is @JioCare . Simply tweet or direct message to Jio Care and you will get a response back with further information.
4. Instant LIVE Chat
You can live chat with jio if you want to know something or have any issue.
To do so, you first need to install the ‘MyJio’ app on your Android or iOS device. This app lets you manage your jio account easily and lets you do various things. One such thing is Live Chat with jio customer care.
You can live chat with jio by opening My Jio app and then sign-in to your account. Once you are logged in, slide your finger from the left side of your screen to open the menu or you can tap the 3-horizontal lines that you will see on top left corner of the app.
There, you will see an option that says ‘Jio Care’. Hit that button, and you will see ‘Live Chat’ option. Upon tapping that button, you will enter a queue to live chat with jio support. It’s just like WhatsApp or any other instant messaging app but you need to wait a bit before someone attends you.
5. Raise Service Request
Whatever you use to reach jio care will ultimately create a unique service request ID if it is not solved instantly and needs some time.
Like, if you contact jio through toll-free number and suppose your problem couldn’t be solved at that moment of time then the customer care official will have to create a service request ID for your issue that will be escalated to someone working in Jio. You will get this service request ID on your registered email ID and jio number.
But if you want to raise a service request anyhow then you can do so through My Jio app or through Jio.com, where you will have to log in to your jio account.
To raise service requests through My Jio app, you have to login to your account, visit the ‘Jio Care’ section by tapping the menu button and then there you will see the option that says ‘Service Request’.
To raise service requests through Jio.com, sign-in to your jio account and then click the down arrow button in the right-hand corner of your screen to open a drop down menu. There you will see the option ‘Service Request’ that will lead you to form which you have to fill up explaining your issue.
You can also track your service request from there and see the progress or estimated resolution time for your problem.
6. Visit Jio’s Office
You can visit jio’s office and ask your question at the customer helpdesk section to get your problem resolved.
Since jio has not yet disclosed jio offices locations so you will have to visit reliance Xpress mini store or the digital store where you can ask if they can help you out. Otherwise, try to find out the head office in your city.
Jio’s head office in my city, Indore, is on the 1st and last floor of Metro Tower near the mangal city mall. It’s very hard to find it at the moment because there were no signboards when I visited last time. Metro tower is huge and is divided into various sections so you will need to roam a bit to reach jio office.
The head office address could also be mentioned behind the jio sim pouch in which you got your jio sim.
